FSP High Speed Machine Systems

FSP300X 5 Axis
The FSP series offers a combination of high feed rates, high spindle speeds, specific tools and dynamically programmed motion. This results in faster turnaround for improved productivity and consistent accuracy to deliver a superior product.
The top of the FSP line is designed and built from the ground up for true five-axis high-speed machining. It is not a hybrid adaptation. A continuous tool-path machines complex shapes in a single setup to maximize utilization and return on investment while improving surface finish.
Features & Options
Principal features and applications of the Moore Tool high-speed machining centers include: • High-precision machining with high-speed cutting capability • HSC machine systems in four and five axis configurations • Portal designs for enhanced accuracy • Turnkey solutions that include programming, fixture design and automation • Adaptations for flexible or serial production • Customized applications for milling and grinding, hydrostatic and air turbine and high-frequency requirements.
Speed Multi-axis high-speed precision machining increases productivity without jeopardizing accuracy.
System enhancements improve tolerance of high-speed stress. Controls constantly correct and compensate for dynamic reaction to guarantee an accurate product.
The ability to configure a continuous tool path eliminates chip "re-cutting" in dry and deep cavity applications.
Productivity Equipment productivity is increased through advancements in design, construction, control, automation and interaction. The results are improved ergonomics, flexibility and advanced CNC interface. Business productivity is enhanced with additional manpower and equipment hours, allotting time for extra work tasks.
The unique cabin design (with work light and C.E. interlocks) isolates the machining area and seals directly against the base flange to prevent leakage. A short reach combined with the B axis swivel motion optimizes the work zone for setups. Position and movement of the rotary table allow for improved ergonomics, flexibility, speed and control while standard components interact to enable smooth, controlled, programmed tooling.
Programming is operator and automation friendly, with a Siemens 840D modular control, Windows NT/XP, user-defined macros and flexible block search. |
